Drawing on classical Kabalistic and Chasidic works, Magical Mystery Torah uses the weekly Torah portion as a springboard to explore Judaism’s esoteric teachings in a way that reveals the novel and unexpected layers of meaning embedded in the text. Bringing things “down to Earth”, the class then ties in related Jewish notions of personal growth to provide the participants with a practical way of bringing these inspiring concepts to life.
